Spatial Works

Brant’s spatial music superimposes contrasting styles and idioms and assigns to each a different location in the concert hall. Groups of musicians are widely separated from each other so that sounds come to the listener from different directions. In the following listings, the word "group" refers to one or more players stationed at a planned location in the hall or on-stage. Complete details of spatial distribution are provided in each score. The number of conductors is listed when more than one is required.
