Janice Tucker Rhoda has taught students to play the violin for over 25 years and was the director of the Suzuki Program at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA for several years. She now teaches Violin for the Absolute Beginner classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, and gives teacher training classes worldwide. Ms. Rhoda is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where her teacher was well-known violinist and pedagogue, Eric Rosenblith, protégé of Carl Flesch. Her greatly successful ABCs of Strings series encouraged students of all ages to play the violin, viola, cello and string bass.
