New York, NY — We’re so pleased to present our latest BriLee choral release, chock-full of titles written especially for middle school and developing choirs. We know directors will find selections that will perfectly suit their ensembles in the 2013 catalog.
But BriLee Music isn’t exclusively for middle school ensembles. It finds tremendous success and popularity within the ranks of the developing high school chorus, as well. In fact, every year, a number of groups ranging from fifth grade through high school choose to perform BriLee titles.
We are committed to following founder Brian Busch’s writing guidelines and offer a wide assortment of unison/two-part works, as they work so well at many levels within the developing chorus. We encourage directors to challenge their ensembles with unison singing, keeping in mind that, while teaching choirs to sing independently in parts is important, there are also wonderful teaching opportunities that present themselves in unison settings. However, as ensembles develop in ability, BriLee features strikingly appropriate two-part and SSA selections as well.
When it comes to our free director resources, you will notice that, in response to overwhelmingly positive feedback, we are once again providing full-length recordings of every title in MP3 format, as well as the complete score in PDF format. This makes it easy for a director to transfer these files to her or his smartphone, iPod, MP3 player, website, and more. In addition, we continue to hear great things about our free Part-by-Part resources, featuring FREE part-dominant recordings.
