These essential collections for trombone and baritone technique have been adapted from two best-selling Carl Fischer Music trumpet publications of the same name. The trumpet versions were first released in 1923 as six small pamphlets, and have been used to teach lip flexibility and tonguing agility for 85 years with great success. In 2003, the pamphlets were combined into the top-selling Complete Shuebruk Lip and Tongue Trainers for Trumpet. Popular composer and Carl Fischer Music Editor-in-Chief Larry Clark has carefully edited these important methods for use by trombone and baritone students. The books will also work equally well as part of a study program on the tuba. The publications contain detailed instruction and etudes/exercises from Shuebruk, designed to build the musculature necessary to develop fast and accurate lip flexibility as well as quick, clean and crisp articulation.
