Quick Overview

Upon completing the repertoire for a spring 1988 concert in honor of "April Fool's Day" organized by the Conducting and Ensembles department of the eastman School of Music (with musical jokes including flying reombones, a vaxuum-cleaner concerto (M. Arnold), hugh tuba and harp ensembles, etc., you get the picture), it was found that one of our school's orchestras had nothing to play. As chair of the department at that time, I set about to rectify this oversight; this tasty and vulgar arrangement of one of the early classical music's most beloved melodies was the result. S.H.
