Quick Overview

Whenever I can, I travel back to the Latin Quarter in Paris. It was there that I completed my doctorate at the University of Paris ? the Sorbonne. On one such visit, I found myself musing about my student days and, for a moment, the voices of my venerable mentors echoed in my mind?s ear, declaiming the great ideas which have subsequently guided me through my professional life. Declamations, therefore, has to do with the Sorbonne, and the title of the piece recalls the drama I found in the eloquent expression of timeless concepts.
