Quick Overview

Jean-Baptiste Arban (1825-1889) wrote and arranged over 300 pieces of music, with his cornet a pistons solos being the most important to trumpet and cornet players. After his death, much of his work f ell into obscurity during the twentieth century. Rediscovering Arban's masterful music was the motivation for compiling this collection of cornet pieces. This collection of solos represents a very important piece of Arban's legacy. Includes a piano accompaniment audio CD for effective practice.
