Studies In Lyricism

A difficult aspect of playing a string instrument is incorporating the lyrical qualities of the human voice. Many serious string students spend much of their time playing etudes that emphasize beauty of tone and elegance of phrasing to develop their total musicianship. These studies have been carefully chosen from the works of Concone, Marchesi and Panofka and are arranged in a progressive order for advancing students.
