In his desire to broaden the repertoire for fellow flutists, Robert Stallman has developed a special gift for transcribing works of Great composers such as Bach, Mozart, Dvořák, Rossini, and others for the flute. A world-class soloist, recording artist, chamber musician, and transcriber, Stallman truly believes that "without a strong foundation in Bach, it is hardly possible to become a serious musician." These unique arrangements of Bach's solo repertoire for Flute, Strings, and Continuo allow flutists to explore this wonderful music–including movements from Bach's preludes, sonatas, partitas,  suites, and concerti originally written for the  violin, cello, organ, and harpsichord – that would otherwise be inaccessible to them, while also giving string and continuo players the opportunity to act as equal collaborators .
