Carlos Lalonde (b. 2001) is a rising composer of instrumental and choral concert music. He has been commissioned by numerous schools and institutions for his wind band and orchestral music. Recent accolades include Cantus’ Young & Emerging Composer Competition, the Greater Twin Cities Youth Orchestras (GTCYS) Call for Scores Competition, and the Alabama Orchestra Association (AOA) Annual Composition Contest.
He is a registered member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) and the American Composers Forum as an active composer in the Chicagoland area. He is studying music composition with Dr. Lynnsey Lambrecht at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
